Here in Sweden it's cold, around zero degrees. It rains a lot and the days are dark. But now we have Christmas to look forward to! Finally something that can bring some light to our north.

First and foremost; Lucia. The 13th of December we celebrate the day of Lucia, (even though originally it is a Sicilian tradition). In the morning, songs of Lucia are played on the radio. The only real tradition of Lucia here in Sweden is the Lucia procession. In every neighbourhood a "Lucia" is chosen, to go in front of the procession, and sing. We have our own Lucia procession in school, the

day of Lucia.
